somatic healing & ritual support
for grief, growth, and transformation
A new way forward
When we begin holding our struggles with curiosity, compassion, and attention rather than treating them as problems to overcome. In doing so, what once felt stuck can begin to move, and what was hidden can come into view.
This work may be helpful if:
You are navigating Grief
Moving through a major life transition
Feeling stuck in emotional or habitual patterns
Seeking a deeper connection with yourself
Longing for greater authenticity and purpose
Working with the Body & Breath
The body stores wisdom and expression that the mind alone cannot always access.
Through movement, breathwork, and intentional touch, we can begin working with patterns of tension, protection, and emotional holding that may be limiting your freedom and wellbeing.
All work is guided at your pace, and rooted in consent, safety, and respect.
Meet Nic
Hi, I’m Nic Despres. I’m a somatic practitioner, ritualist, and musician based in West Michigan.
I believe that meaningful change happens when we slow down enough to feel and listen to our body, emotions, and the earth.
Whether we’re working one-on-one, gathering in ceremony, or singing together in community, my intention is to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and free.
Ritual, Grief, & Community
Throughout history, people have gathered in community to mark life’s transitions, express grief, and return to that which matters most.
Alongside one-on-one work, I facilitate grief rituals, song circles, and ceremonies that support connection, expression, and belonging.
These spaces invite us to move beyond healing as a private endeavor and remember ourselves as something larger
Music as Medicine
Music has been one of the most trusted companions throughout my life.
What began as a personal practice has become an integral part of how I serve community. I incorporate music in all the work I do as a way to open the heart and soothe the mind.

Begin by listening.
Listening to the body, to the heart, and to what is asking for attention.
